Migraine Awareness Month: ”A Guy and a Girl Walk Into a Bar…” - Tell us your most amusing Migraine Story
I’ve had 7 or 8 visits to the emergency room due to migraines. Now the doctor gives me liquid Toradol, but previously I was given a heavy narcotic like Dilaudid. Have any of you ever been given a heavy narcotic like that? It does some crazy unpleasant things to you. I would completely lose control and burst into song for whoever had the misfortune of sitting with me at the hospital bed.
For some reason, my go-to song is “Say it Ain’t So” by Weezer. This has become a running joke in my family. I’m a terrible singer, but my boyfriend and my family were so entertained by this. They still make fun of me, and every time I hear that song, I can’t help but think of my ER visits!
